We went to a kebabçı for lunch. There I observed some people. Their clothes were old and worn out, their shoes gone off, their shoulders bent down, their chins not shaved. The food they ate has been cooked the same way for about some thousand years. The chairs on which they sat were banged together from simple sticks and planks. But as soon as they sat down they took their brand new smartphones and began to stare at.
Another thought came to me: In all TV-series simple people appear quite rich: their clothes new, the rooms tidy, the stage settings “romantic”, the accessories selected with care. But here everybody looks poor, though there might be some very rich people among them too
